[NTLK] Dynex DX-UBDB9 + Snow Leopard?

I'm re-sending this question for fear it was lost in the shuffle.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the Dynex DX-UDBB9 serial adapter
will work with Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6)?  It was working fine when
I last used my Newt a while back, but now it doesn't work.  Dynex tech
support has been less than helpful (I got the email equivalent of a
shoulder shrug and the suggestion that I test a serial adapter ON SOME
OTHER PIECE OF HARDWARE.  Because I have loads of serial peripherals
lying around....  )
