I was looking at the ripoffs case especially after (good) talk of them on the list but ultimately I made a case because I'm a "jack of all trades" type (thanks dad :-) plus making one was free using recycled materials and supplies I had around. I'll get a ripoffs one day when I get off the wallet...

I think it's time I mentioned (again) the very excellent Ripoff Holsters

(and no, I don't get a kickback; this isn't an advert, it's my personal
obsession).

Protective, rugged, no snagging, and even nicely styled. You get choice of
a properly designed belt clip (my favourite) or a belt loop, and a choice of
secondary pockets for a spare battery pack or other small extras. And
they're a nice bunch of people to do business with.
