I like WordPad too - I do most of my word processing in it (except plain text, which I do in Notepad or EDIT.COM, or really complex documents, for which I use MS Word).

While on the subject of Newtonbooks, does anyone know how to insert a picture into a book in the Windows version of Newton Press? The help file offers several methods (File-Add, copy and paste, drag and drop), but the picture (regardless if it is black and white or not) won't insert. Is that even possible, or is it an unfinished feature (like IR sync in NCU)? I've tried it on both Windows 98 and XP.
