This is all great for vertical markets but if you look at actual sales statistics for tablet PCs you will see just how little demand there actually is.  

Finally, places like Future Shop, citing dismal sales, dropped the devices pretty much altogether.  Displays were taken down.  What was once sections of ~15 different models of tablet PCs are gone from their stores.  They never sold after about a 10 year run.
