[NTLK] OT: Ink / palm rejection on the iPad?

Hi, folks,

I'm considering putting more work into fixing up my Newt 2000 for note-taking and schedule work, but the iPad has me reconsidering.

There are a number of ink notetaking apps for the iPod Touch / iPhone, but I didn't really like any of them because the Pogo stylus doesn't work very well for me (I'm a lefty, and using the stylus at the angle at which I write sometimes scratches my, thank goodness, screen protector).

But the iPad's bigger screen, the few page-style note-taking apps that have emerged for it at launch (PadNotes), and perhaps an alternate stylus (like the Dagi stylus), might tempt me. If Evernote adds an ink note component, as they're threatening to do in a future release, that would be _extremely_ tempting.

I'm wondering if anyone here has tried the iPad for ink notetaking or sketching? If you have, how does it deal with your palm on the glass?

Cheers,
Jon
