Given how much Jobs is admired and feared for the latter, as I've 
said for 12 years: the only thing that makes sense is Jobs saw lots 
and lots of Mac sales going to much less expensive and hence much 
less profitable Newtons. Newton was killed because keeping it alive 
would have meant a down-sized Apple.
