[NTLK] PCMCIA Issues

I had this problem a while ago. I took the batteries out, put it on the shelf
and a few days later got around to organising for Frank Gruendel to have a look
at it.  While I was putting bubble wrap around it, I just got a nagging feeling
to try it one more time before sending it away. Well whaddayaknow, it worked.
No problems ever since.  Still no clue as to what happened.
