The problem is that the Newton OS has already seen what it believes to
be an incorrect date and reset the clock on us, so we have to do some
kind of tracking of the real date & time while the Newton is "running"
to go by. The Newton OS resets the date to 1996 during reset,
fortunately Eckhart's patch notices that 1996 is invalid and brings it
up to 2008, but we'll need something to get it back to "correct"
instead of "ballpark".
