[NTLK] How do I scroll?

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm new to this.  I have a H1000 and I find that when I write and get to the bottom of a page there is no way to scroll down to reveal more space.  Tapping the down button just takes me to the list of notes (as I am already at the last note) just like the centre button does.  If I select my note it just takes me back where i was.  How do I get extra space to type on please?
