You didn't specify, so I'll point out that the Printing HWR setting  
does not learn your handwriting.  If you are using the Cursive HWR  
setting, check to see that the Handwriting Settings under Options in  
the Handwriting Recognition pane has 'Learn my handwriting' checked.

Also if you are using Cursive, go to 'Letter Shapes' in the same  
Options menu.  It's here that you can manually change options for  
what strokes/shape patterns are used to write the different letters,  
and perhaps learn how to adjust your writing to improve recognition.
