[NTLK] eMate weirdness

Every time I hit the reset button on my eMate, it does a complete reset: when it comes back on I have to recalibrate the touchscreen and get a message that the system restarted because all power was removed. This happens even though the eMate is plugged in to the wall. I also have to reset the time and date from July 1996 (which involves a lot of annoying tapping).

I don't recall this being the normal behavior. Anyone seen anything like this?

My eMate is not patched—it is at ROM version 2.1 (737041)-1
