Here as well on a US Newton, Inc. MP2100, only patched to (717260)-1  
~10 yrs. ago. Just before the (71J059)-1 installation, had set the MP  
to my current local time & date, (US West Coast), fully backed it up  
to a new 7MB card. After reboot, time base 1/1/08 0:00. Time: 1/1/08  
4:04.Actual local time was 0:34 1/3/10
