This is actually great advice.

Doctor Clu's timeline for retro computer collecting:

1) Hold it for a year to see if you still need it.
2) Hold it for three years to see if you still want it.
3) Hold it for seven to ten years to see if it is something that is fun to revisit.
4) If step 3 is not the case, reconsider step 1.
