[NTLK] Just for the FUN of it....

$20.00 CDN. I would certainly take a photo of some of his work for you to
choose from. I bet he will even do it in a wood or (can't think of the right
term right now) acrylic or plastic that tickles your fancy. He makes the fat
and slim style Cross. However, the 8505 refill is becoming scarce and is the
only PDA insert Cross made and is only for the Cross slim. Cross still has a
few in stock (I contacted the factory) and will ship to retail outlets that
special order.($$$) My friend cannot get the 8505. He can make a very nice
holder though. I just bought two 8505's from:
http://www.xxcutlery.com/locations.asp
As they are the only google search that had stock. $5.00US ea. Drop me a
line off list and I'll help any way I can.
Apologies to g if this should have been prefaced with (FS). I'm not looking
to gain, just offering assistance.
BTW: Not too early! Cute. :) And, I agree whole heartedly on the "FEEL" of
the tip on the screen. Once you've tried it, another will not do. (I played
with a YAFA for a bit. OK in a pinch but, not a Cross!)
Cheers,
Stefan Thorsteinson

My wooden Cross with PDA stylus walked away couple years ago.
I'd love to know what your friend charges for his Cross knock-off --
or is it knock-on-wood?
Ewww -- too early!
BTW, I've tried 'em all, and nothing comes close to a wonderful Cross
tip -- perfect feel and action on the tapscreen: gives a sense of
purchase on the screen, but not at all sticky.
