This article originally appeared on LowEndMac in 2006.  It's a replica of it.

And the article itself... takes mostly from the book Defying Gravity.  So it's not new information from the author.  It's a summary of Defying Gravity, with a few pieces of information from Apple Confidential, among a few others.

Still a good read because it summarizes things.  With this said, I find it interesting how online, an author can post an article, basically recycling what is in a few books, and then list those books at the end.  It's not clear though from some online articles how much information was taken from those books, because there are no citations in-text or any endnotes.
