Maybe my answer was a bit convoluted, obtuse and verbose, but the
Messaging Card was a glorified paging card connected to the Newton. It
was receive-only. You would need one of the later RadioMail, WyndMail
or the All Points Card, later with OS 2.0 to get wireless sending
capabilities. Early sending was out-box-based. You would write your
email, or make your fax, and put it in the out-box to be sent later
when connected.
