There were exactly two Newton Bible readers. One was TheMessage, which
is being discussed, and was free, with the caveat for the NIV. The
other was created by a company that actually specialized in medical
software, whose name I forget, and the sofware, which name I also
forget. This program was a tad bit different from TheMessage in that
you could create notes in the Notepad that were linked to the Bible
program, so you could write notes on passages/verses. Unfortunately,
it was commercial software, and required a license code, I believe. I
wish I could remember the name...
