Been there, done that :-)  Too kludgy for me, but YMMV.  A Modbook is  
more elegant, but pricey.

So far, my most creative/productive combo is a 13" MacBook Pro, a Palm  
T|X, and a pad of paper.  Scanner @ home for later processing of  
paper.  That's my "take everywhere" kit, tho' the MB is often left in  
the car.

I keep trying to fit my Newton(s) in - now waiting to see a Y2010  
patch for the MP130.  May never happen.
