.to remember how my newt works!

 

I stopped using my newt years ago when I could no longer bring it to work
(security reasons) but now that has changed.  I can't bring the flash card
but I can bring the newt. Yeah!

 

My problem is I can hardly remember how to use, dock, transfer, etc.  And to
think I had run my emate as a server for some time back in the day.

 

I had followed along on Newtontalk the development of the date fix and
somehow was able to update my 2100 and emate.  I noticed the wikiwikinewt is
down (is it?)  but was able to connect on my WindowsXP PC.  I have my trusty
Powerbook 3400 and would like to use that for my newton work but so far have
not been able to connect.  I tried both serial and Ethernet.  I just can't
seem to remember what to do and how to do it.  Since my PB runs OS8.6, any
ideas on a good browser that works today?  I am in the market for a new
MacBook and would like to know what is available for connection to the newt.
