I just came across an eBay auction of some Newton software that was released as
freeware after our intrepid John Powell approached the developer back in 2007
for permission to do so.

Although I won't name the vendor, I consider this kind of practice avaricious
and underhanded. It takes advantage of naive Newton users who are unaware that
they can obtain it for free.

Caveat emptor!
