The software Martin refers to would be installed on the Newton. For OS  
X you would probably need something like the OpenOBEX applications or  
some other form of OBEX transfer software. I managed to get tcpObex  
compiled on my PowerBook and was able to receive files from the  
Newton, but could never send.
