[NTLK] Newton 2000 Power Switch

I have a Newton 2000 that seems to be functional except for the power
switch. If left unpowered w/o the battery for a while it will start up
when power is connected. Once powered up, it cannot be turned off or
the backlight cannot be activated with the power switch. Any ideas? I
have never taken one of these apart. Is the switch on the mobo or a
separate part?

Thanks,
Pat Sullivan
