A font doesn't have to be readable to be attractive. Futura is beautiful but favours geometry over readability. Cooper Black is handsome but obviously unsuitable for body text. Even Helvetica's readability is questionable given the uniform design of its letterforms, perhaps making it hard to distinguish one character from another.
