2) Ignore older than 3 days

 

Filters are your friend. GMail (me.com?) re-direct rules can help immensely, too.

What WOULD be an immense help would be to have the filters in Mail V work better...unless I'm not doing it right.


In PREFERENCES for Mail V, under MORE...I try and choose "If an item's TO RECIPIENT...Isn't NEWTONPHOENIX...then IGNORE IT" (Caps are used to indicate *my choices* in the dropdown menu selections). I choose ADD and I get, in the box, "ignore if the sender isn't NewtonPhoenix", which is the exact OPPOSITE of what I want! I want to ONLY receive email sent to NewtonPhoenix (at this point anyway) on the Newton.


Is there something I'm missing there that's so simple that I'm missing it?
