[NTLK] I'm new to Newton emate purchased on ebay

Being on Frank's side of The Great Postal & Shipping Divide, I can vouch for him personally. He was very helpful when I was missing parts for the two 2000s I have.

Apart from the fact that I really liked the Newton Book where he describes one of his trips to the local post office...


BTW, the stupid IR install-via-Nokia trick actually helped me get the 2010 patch on a 2000 that I had no other way of connecting... not enough RAM for ethernet+patch, no working serial dongle... Instead I beamed it via IrOBEX to the 2100, saved it on a card by filing it there from the InOut app, popped the card in the 2000 with IC/VC installed and "put away" the patch...

And now it's 2010-Proof!
