Hi Doc,
Yes, you can load up a .ppt file that was created with Windows Office
97 only (hmm, now that I think about it, maybe it was '93?). It seems
to me that they made a plug-in for PowerPoint (that version only) that
allows one to export a .pkg file that the Message Pad can run as a
stand-alone slide show, displaying in 16 bit color. There is a .pkg
file that I believe came with the EZ2 products that allows one to
choose one of three colors (RGB IIRC) to draw on a slide, John Madden
style.
I didn't have access to Windows Office at the time, and so could never
play with it.
Since you're interested in other color display options, it is worth
mentioning that Tibet will display .jpg files in color over the EZ2
products.
