Jon, I really don't see why the Einstein estate could do anything about a
portmaneau word like "newtstein".  If they could stop people from using
anything containing the suffix "-stein", just think of all the people called
"Bernstein", "Epstein", "Feinstein"(!), etc., etc., etc., etc., who'd be
paying royalties to use their own names.

Ditto "newtstein" and the Newton trademark.  What would Apple do, collect
sue a whole subfamily of salamanders?   I think even the Apple legal
department would decide to walk away from that one.  ;-)

And as a portmaneau, it has the advantage of embracing our past, our present
and our future.  

We should be copyrighting the word, just in case.
