I should probably clarify a little here. I meant no insult - the idea
I wanted to express, and might not have, is that there's a tradition
of ferocity in Scotland that goes back a couple millennia. I've seen
caber-tossing, and the men doing it are bloody huge; and I lack the
courage necessary to approach haggis.

With a nation full of people tough enough that they can loft and toss
stacks of lumber, tough enough that they were more terrifying out of
armor than in it, and tough enough to eat haggis, well, I can't
imagine they'd be intimidated by anything as paltry as heart disease.
