Which reminds me: I have the space to hold a Worldwide Newton Conference 2012. How about it? Krefeld is located quite central in Europe, about 10km NW of Düsseldorf. Let me grab an arbitrary date, like June 1st, 2nd, 3rd. We have a direct connection to Duisburg station for the high speed ICE (300km/h, about 190mph)  and to DUS International Airport. Accommodations are nearby, from the simple B&B to the higher prices hotels.

We could hold our meeting in the old Brandy manufacture, catering included. And at night, I would take you all to Düsseldorf or Cologne historic city center to see houses from the 1400's and drink Kölsch (light colored dark beer) or Alt (dark colored sweet beer).

I can then point our visitors from far to Berlin (3 1/2 hour train ride) or Munich (4 1/2h by train - Hofbräuhaus, you know?), or even Paris (3 1/2h by train) or London (1 1/2h by plane).

Would anyone be interested?
