To be fair to Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 is _nothing_ like Windows Mobile, and is actually a pretty decent OS. Certainly looks and feels more polished than Android. Rumour has it, despite the fact that WP7 OS is completely different and has nothing to do with Windows, they had to name it _Windows_ Phone because that was the only way to get Ballmer's approval (he's got this delusion of Windows being everywhere.)
