No, it has not. It is not very difficult though. I wanted to hold back with a Cydia release until we were certain that the App Store would decline out application.

Yes, but it is a bit more difficult. The Ad Hoc distribution is only good for three months (Apple can change that at their discretion, as well as kicking individual developers out of that program if they feel that they are circumventing the Store). So even if I were to give out 100 Ad Hoc licenses, the fun would not last. After 90 days, I would have to generate another 100 licenses and so on forever. This can not be automated that easily, and I know that I don't have a day or two available every quarter to get new Ad Hoc licenses out in time.
But Einstein is Open Source. So if you manage to pool with a bunch of other willing users, split a license among you guys, you yourself can even give out a limited number of developer licenses that only expire after a year, plus 100 Ad Hoc licenses... .
