[NTLK] What is the easiest way to get text files from an eMate to a Mac Mini running Mac OSX 10.6.5?

On the irda: no luck on any mac later than those built for late OS9. The macs able to run the first transition to OSX can do irda to newton, but only if running OS9.
Seem to recall there is success printing directly to some older HP (?) printers via irda, but never tried that.
