Hi Jim

I presume you have tried the usual trouble shooting procedures:

* Check prefs to make sure that battery type is set to NiMH?
* Reboot the Newton
* Pull out the battery tray and check the battery type (Just kidding....!)
* Pulled someone elses leg?
