I have written it with 2.2 compatibility in mind. I may be using a command that is not available on your machine. I need a relatively high version of Android to get all the native support. And I don't know enough about ANdroid to find the functions that may fail on 1.6 .

Yes, that could be anything. Probably a missing function call. There is no way for me to find out unless I get a debug connection via USB to the actual device... .
