Hello all,
I am new to the group and mailing lists in general so please let me know if I go astray.
I recently dusted off my MP100 and quickly realized that I could use a RAM card for it. I studied up from resources on line at "My Apple Newton" (thanks Tony, great site!) and www.mac3.de/sig/newton/memory_cards.html. When I went looking for a card though (like on the synchrotech site), I kept seeing references to with or without "attribute memory" and I couldn't figure out which type I needed or if those cards would even work with my MP100.
My long winded questions are, what is attribute memory and what does it do? (my guess is its a buffer that speeds up operation), will those type of cards even work with my MP100? and if they will work with my MP100, which type to I want?
If anyone can help educate me I would be grateful.
I also want to mention that I am thrilled to see how many resources there are and how much interest there still is with this great little device. I will be looking to acquire a MP2x00 once I find my (or make a) cable for the connection kit.
Thanks,
Rusty
