Thanks Grant! As I am trying to acquire a 2000 or 2100 myself I went ahead and sent Mike an email. If it works out, once I have gone through the inventory, I will certainly extend the same opportunity to others in the group.

Yes, you read that right.
There are free Newtons in Melbourne!
I was recently contacted by Mike King. He works at a market research
firm in Melbourne, Australia and his company had used Newton devices
for their data gathering. He is now looking to find a home for them.
The exact number of devices is not known. Mike has indicated that
there are "a few old Newton 2000s and 2100s" and that the Newtons must
be taken as a single lot. He is providing no guarantees, but the units
appear to be operational and seem to be in decent shape. A few have
minor screen wear, due to the repetitive nature of their data gathering.
He can ship the devices if the recipient pays the postage. However, if
you are reasonably local to Melbourne, you might consider picking them
up in person.
Please reply directly to Mike regarding this opportunity.
