[NTLK] Charger for my series 7

Hiya Clare,
long time lurker and proud Newton and Psion Netbook (basically a
upgraded version of the Series 7, the old one with RS 232 serial
connection - not the USB variant) chiming in.
For that model basically any decent switched adapter delivering
_15Volts_ will do just fine, if a proper plug is used. Those
reasonably cheap power supplies where the voltages can be switched to
15 Volts sometimes come with a variety of plugs for all sorts of
devices - you will want one of those.

However, beware of the polarity! Those interchangable plugs determine
the polarity by the way the are inserted into the socket on the power
supply side.
For the Series 7 as for the Netbook you will want to have the minus
part on the outside (the outer ring) and the positive part on the
inside (tip).
Failing to geht that one right could destroy the Series 7!

Best wishes,

  Stefan
