Hi Karen
First, a PRAM Zap.
The Pismo will be the easiest - when you go to sell it no doubt you
will wipe the HDD, thus wiping away whatever is causing the sleep/wake
situation.
Since they both have the same problem a common software condition is
probable. With OSX, Energy Saver and Network Prefpane settings (&
probably others). With OS9 anything similar.
I would certainly consider the Pismo AS IS. A PM please if you want to
go that way.
