[NTLK] OMP Display Problem- Very very dim

My MP100/Vintage Alarm clock has some weird screen problem. It
suddenly went very very dim. When I put it to sleep and turned it back
on, the Newton Logo was bright and readable. Thinking it was a
software problem, I rebooted the system and now can hardly read
anything. Any ideas? Already tried to the contrast slider- it does no
good.
