Does anyone know the details of what's happening here?

I've been hunting for a way to convert the newt keyboard to USB so I can
use it with my Nexus 7. And speaking of, has anyone else run Einstein on an
N7? It's eerie how newtonlike it is (the screen is very close to 2100
size). With just a very small amount of speed increase, it could be
genuinely usable.
