Yep, agree, and it's definitely a key tool to have! But the problem is
more with the people who want to run RDCL based tools on their
machine, they would have to hassle with getting a proper Ruby install
running. Or is there nowadays an easy way to wrap up a Ruby program
into an executable (for Win, Mac and Linux)? That would be fine as
well.
