I've tried IC/VC with Google Calendar several times over the years, but never had any success. I tried private & public .ICS links with not luck. At one point I thought it might be possible to write a newtonscript for Newtscape to handle the ICS mimetype, but my coding skills weren't strong enough to get anywhere.
