Rather then staying with an outdated program, why not upgrade to a more
modern one that IS supported by the vendor, perhaps one of the top 5 from
here:

I moved from Quicken to PocketMoney Desktop in 2010 because I used the iOS
app first and Intuit refused to support iOS by allowing Pocket Quicken to
be released as an iOS app. Meanwhile Quicken became more and more unstable
under Leopard. Also be aware that Quicken 2007 and below won't work on Lion
and Mountain Lion UNLESS you pay for the special compatibility update to
2007. So if you are running Lion/ML you need to get original Quicken for
Mac 2007, update it with all the free updates and then buy the
compatibility update. To me, it isn't worth it given Intuit's anti-Mac
position. If I was starting today, I'd probably go with Money or MoneyDance.
