Ok, I have no idea how this message managed to get it to the list.

It was sent from the member at linkedin,com address, which is definitely not a member of the list. However, the reply-to address was jstaub at cox.net - an active member. I'm pretty sure this isn't how mailing list sender verification is supposed to work.

Jim, did you send the original LinkedIn request? Or was this another automated ping from their system?
