Pretty much, yes. I had to use my cell phone for email. I tried using it as a hotspot, which worked great, because we are in a HSDPA zone. Unfortunately, HSDPA sucks my data limit out of that little guy in seconds (20MBit/s, 300MB limit on my account, shlorp).
