The SER-001 had two revisions, Newton Sales sold their version the Dongle
Destroyer (iirc)
Dongle Destroyer imho looked closer to the original SER-001 layout. I've
got photos on my Flickr stream somewhere.

Enough said that NS's USB adapter finally came out and is the current only
available Usb adapter for the MP2x00  and eMate300 units.

That said let's leave all the other items be as it's all water under the
bridge - I have an opinion myself but the has been hashed out and can be
found in the archives if you're interested in knowing the history for
yourself...
