[NTLK] HWR app for iPad

OK, I've done the looking, but it's hard to find sites, etc. with people
who knew the Newton. Is there any notetaking app for the iPad that even
approximates what the Newton can/could do? I'm thinking not just converting
text, but editing with a stylus or finger in the same way--scrubbing, press
and hold to select, gestures for inserting things, shortcuts, etc. or any
subset of the above. Is there anything? TIA
