Actually I thought I would need to go way back in time for appropriate hardware. But I am happy it isn't so. I brought it back to life today. At first it would not start at all. Not even the startup chime was sounding, but after a bit of searching I found the backup battery cell dead. After I stripped it, the system came back to life immediately - probably after being stored away for at least two to three years now.
