[NTLK] Understanding Backup

Hi All!
Here's another newbie question-this one about backup.
If I use the Newton's built-in backup function to backup to a card, am I backing up only the internal store?
Looking at the reported size of my backup, that would appear to be the case.
If it is the case, then should I create a backup of the internal store on the 2omb  card I use for daily storage, and then use SBM to backup that entire card onto a second card of similar size?
