[NTLK] iOSEinstein issue

Hi Marisa!

I have exactly this behavior.

I have installed your build of IOS Einstein on my iPad Mini (running iOS 8.0.2, at the moment), along with the version of the Newton ROM that you make available based on proof of ownership of a physical functional Newton.

Having all that in place, tapping IOS Einstein in the iPad gets me a blank, black screen for a second, followed by a return to the desktop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and its ROM data, to no avail.

Looking at the sizes of the files under the "usage" section of the iPad's settings, I find the app to be 18.6 MB and the app's dat (presumably the ROM) to be 8.0MB.

The iPad continues to believe the app is active -- double-clicking the home button reveals it among recently used apps. But it shows simply a black screen. Selecting it brings that black screen to the front and then takes me back to the desktop.

I hope that's helpful. Let me know if there's additional information I can provide that would be of use.

I expect to install iOS 8.1 on the iPad — if it ever finishes downloading — and will try again under that operating system.

Cheers!

Greg

> Hi, i tried posting this before but i don't know if it went through. I have someone using my build of einstein and they say that it exits when trying to run it after the rom file is installed using itunes. Anyone else seen this or have a updated build of einstein? I still have room for more people to buy it from me btw...
